Taking your picture this month was hilarious. The moment you'd be put down you got on your feet. We definitely had to be quick! It made for some good outtakes and memories! Here are the good ones.
You are our same sweet, curious, and happy baby. When you were 8 months and 3 days you learned how to crawl and none of our lives will ever be the same! You are fast! You pull up on everything now that you can get your hands on and started cruising some on the furniture this weekend. You pull up on your toy box and reach in with one hand to grab the toy you'd like. Mercy.
You crawl behind us and put your sweet little hands in the air or on our leg when you want to be picked up. You love to "walk" around when you hold our hands. You will stick your knees high in the air- it's precious! You try to crawl with straight legs sometimes (think crawling on hands and feet) because we assume you're trying to figure out walking, but haven't picked up the upper body part yet. :)
You can wave 'hi' if you're in the mood to do so. So far you've waved three times- twice at me and once at the cashier in Target. You mimicked the sound 'hi' twice this past week. It sounded like 'Hhhaaaiiiaa' You also did that twice- once with me and once with your Daddy. You have learned how to roll a ball and think its hilarious. Lately you've started pushing the ball and chasing it around the room.
You like to take your socks, shoes, and bibs off when you are playing or in the carseat. You are interested in getting into Rouge's bowls so we've had to move those. Since then you've made a little figure eight route underneath the kitchen table. I can tell that's going to be a favorite spot for you to play! You stand all the way up in your crib when you're ready to get out (which is most of the time these days!). You are interested in studying every day things now like your brush or a spoon, but you still love books and toys.
You like to dance. To anything. Even if the music lasts for 5 seconds you are already dancing! You love music! You like music that's fast especially bluegrass. You'll dance to anything though. You love to kick your legs and bang with your hands or bang a toy (you especially love your wooden hammer) and you like to shake toys that makes sounds like your wiggly giggler or your musical toys.
You weigh 23 pounds and some change and you're very tall for your age. You wear a size 3.5-4 shoe and size 4 diaper. You've started some finger foods like mum-mums, puffs, banana, and carrot pieces. You like to use your pinchers to grab the food. You have four bottom teeth.
You have started taking interest in toys with wheels- trucks, planes, trains. You like to look underneath everything (even our rugs) over and over again. We love to see you learning! You still find the smallest part of a toy and move it around with your fingers.
You are into hugs and snuggles now. Even if they're just a couple of seconds long you give the sweetest hugs around! After I'm done changing your diaper I stand you up and say 'Ta-Da' and you always smile, put your head on my shoulder, and give me a long hug. We are so thankful for you, Henry. You are so precious to us. We thank God every day for allowing us to be your parents. We love you!!!!!!

Happy 9 Months, Henry! We love you and are excited for this new stage of crawling, pulling up, and (before we know it) walking! Tell Mommy to print out a copy of that close-up of your face for Aunt Ashlee. You look like a baby model!
