Best Birthday Ever

Wow, we had a GREAT weekend! As an incentive Caleb's company gives everyone money on the anniversary of their hire date with the agreement that it will only be used for something fun and you have to report what you did. So Caleb and I decided to have a fun-filled weekend celebrating his birthday (they also give birthdays off so double bonus for us)! Caleb chose everything we did since we were celebrating his birthday!

On Friday, we enjoyed a relaxing shopping day at the mall and saw the movie, Cloverfield. My favorite show right now is Jon & Kate plus 8 on TLC. They were on Oprah so Caleb was kind enough to let me watch it. :) We also enjoyed a delicious meal at the Angus Barn to celebrate his birthday!

IT WAS SO COLD (hence the cold face)!!!

This is the surprise cookie cake I made for Caleb. I got to use my mechanical pastry bag, a wedding present, for the first time and absolutely loved it! Do you see the 25?

Saturday, we had brunch at one of our favorite places Big Ed's and enjoyed the band outside. If you've never been there we highly recommend it! We grilled out for dinner after an exciting afternoon of attending a bridal shower and video games.

Sunday flew by--We went to church and then to lunch with all the Mills family to celebrate Caleb's bday! We had such a great time being with family and are so thankful everyone lives close by! We made a tennis date, but the weather was way too cold to play! :(
