Things I've Learned Since Living in North Carolina

I've lived here over two years now and am just now writing this down:

  1. Barbecue is best served with vinegar.
  2. Hoi Toide is a real word.
  3. 4 Piece Supreme Dinner with fries and Sweet Tea.
  4. Sushi goes well with jazz.
  5. You should always stock up on lots of bread and milk before the snow storm hits and you're snowed in for weeks.
  6. If I need a Toyota, Marc Jacobson is just up the street.
  7. Shagging is not a dirty word.
  8. Wheat threshers and tractor pulls!
  9. Oyster stew and strawberry ice cream pie are best served on Christmas Eve.
  10. My Raleigh lady makes the best wife.
