well for those of you who still read our blog you know its in for a much needed update! Caleb and I have enjoyed the summer so much and can't believe its almost August! This summer has been full of happy and some sad moments (recently saying goodbye to a beloved and deeply missed friend to cancer).
i was a bridesmaid in our friends, Stephanie and Chris' wedding in early june. it was held at the beach and we had a really fun time joining in on the fun! we've celebrated lots of birthdays this summer! two of our nieces had birthdays so far- emily who turned 3 in may and had a dora the explorer themed party, alli who just turned 9 last week and celebrated chucky cheese style with some friends in alabama, and rebecca, has a birthday coming up in august and she will be 7! our friends jereme and ashlee stout welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Emma Grace Stout, on her new birthday, june 25th! and lastly our puppy rouge turned a year old june 27th and we celebrated with a small doggie "cake" (just her size) and gave her a new toy.
we just returned from visiting C's parents in TN and had an amazing time! we visited knoxville, cherokee national forest, tellico plains, and a trout hatchery! we enjoyed visiting with them so much and seeing his grandparents! we are up to our ears in yummy fresh produce from their garden and his grandparents' garden and it is surely summer in our household! we are looking forward to visiting again soon!!!
