18 Months

Henry, you are 18 months old! Can hardly believe you are a year and a half. Where has the time gone? We were out of town on your 18 month birthday, but I took these precious Fall pictures of you instead!

You are loving life. Each day and moment is a new adventure. You are constantly learning and soaking everything in!

You love to play hide and seek. You love to play a game where we say 'bye-bye' and your whole expression changes to a very serious face and you bustle out of the room (you even have a route) until you decide it's time to come back again and everyone cheers and says 'hello'. You could do this all day (and sometimes you do!)


You are SOOOO into anything with wheels. You say 'Go, Go, Go!'. You love anything that goes fast or slow as long as you can push it with your little fingers or watch the real thing go down the street. You throw your arms up if we say "Touchdown!"


You love to dance and are always making up fun dance moves and love for us to copy you. Our time in the car is so much more fun now that we turned you around in the carseat. At your 18 month appointment you were 34 inches tall (90%) and weighed 29 lbs., 10 oz. (97%) so it was totally fine to move you facing forward. You wear 2T-3T clothing and a size 7 shoe.


You love to clap for yourself if you did something right and clap for others if they do something well. I love that about you! You are getting taller each day and can reach at least 2 inches on top of our tall kitchen cabinets. They are taller than average cabinets, so we have to watch what is in reach! You love crackers.
