Henry's Baby Shower!
On Saturday afternoon, two of my very best friends Ashlee and Stephanie threw Henry a baby shower at Steph's house! These girls definitely went above and beyond anything I could imagine! The food and decor were spectacular and I could tell Ash and Steph thought of every last detail from the baby pictures of Caleb and I (thanks Granna and Grandmother!) scattered throughout to the mantle lined with monogrammed galore! It was such a treat to see my girls and their moms and Dee Dee of course! :) Henry was definitely showered with many lovely gifts and Caleb and I are so thankful for everyone who came and for everything they gave! It warms our hearts to see our son loved so much-we are definitely blessed by the Lord!
*Enjoy the pictures compliments of the lovely Mrs. Stout ;)

33 weeks
How far along? 33 weeks, 5 days
Total weight gain: 26 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Um, yes. Found a great pair of maternity jeans today so I can kick the original ones to the curb. They just weren't cutting it for me!
Stretch marks? Yep.
Sleep: Yes, still waking up at 5am most mornings ready to go for the day. Thankfully, I've been able to fall back asleep some mornings.
Best moment this week: Henry's baby shower on Saturday! This event was so special and honored Henry and our family in such a sweet way! More on his shower very soon!
Worst moment this week: Feeling like I'm constantly being asked the same round of questions by complete strangers. You probably have an idea of what I'm talking about... :) And it seems that the bigger he gets, the harder its been for me to digest food...OH yes, and seeing all the super cute "normal" spring clothes out in the stores and knowing there's no use in getting excited about wearing them for a little while...
Movement: This boy loves to move around all the time and I absolutely love it! I love seeing him move from one side to the other and lately I've been startled when he kicks me because its so hard!
Food cravings: Ice, sushi, chocolate, turkey, and milk
Labor Signs: None as far as I know.
Belly Button in or out? In, but a little flatter than the last week.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Milestones: Celebrating Caleb's 27th birthday!
Looking forward to next week: Starting childbirth prep classes on Wednesday when I'm 34 weeks (34 weeks?!?!?!)
Total weight gain: 26 lbs.

Looking back on 32 weeks
How far along? Technically I'm 33 weeks, 1 day but for this post you can imagine I'm a measly 32 weeks. :)
Total weight gain: 26 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Yes!
Stretch marks? Nothing new.
Sleep: Still sleeping regularly although I keep waking up really early because I'm too excited to start the day and accomplish something to get any sleep in. :)
Best moment this week: Waking up to our second (or third?) snow of the year. Our trip to Ikea and Pottery Barn outlet on Saturday and Valentine's day of course! Caleb and I had a great time this year! *Some pictures to follow shortly!
Worst moment this week: Hmm...can't think of anything honestly.
Movement: You bet! He is a moving machine.
Food cravings: Ice, sushi, chocolate, turkey (from Jersey Mike's done "Mike's Way"--already planning on having it in the hospital once he's born! I've been craving it since July.)
Labor Signs: None as far as I know.
Belly Button in or out? In, but a little flatter than the last week.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Milestones: The only thing left in his nursery is to put up the purchased curtains and shelves, and purchase my chair. Crazy.
Looking forward to next week: My first baby shower on the 20th!

32 week appointment
Wow, we are one grateful little family I can tell you that! We had another successful doctors appointment yesterday morning. All my "stats" are still healthy and looking good and Henry's heartbeat is still very strong and healthy. He's measuring a little larger than average, only by a little centimeter or two, so the doctor wasn't concerned since he's been measuring a tad larger for the whole pregnancy. She also felt around and determined again that he is indeed head down and she was talking through this and said "Oh, there's his little butt.." and I respond, "NO WAY!! Where is it??" I was so excited, can you tell? She directs me to where it is and says, "Do you feel that knot? That's his bottom!" I felt around and thought I may have felt something but I wasn't entirely sure. I was just so excited to know a little more about this boy inside of me! I never thought I'd be so excited about a little bottom, but in true new mom fashion I'm totally thrilled! Praise God for our little boy! :)
I also went through some of my questions (intense back pain, craving ice, etc.) with the doctor and what we got out of it is that "this is just the way it is right now" but she did give us some good tips. I"m honestly ok with the fact that "this is how it is" for this season of my life. It will pass all too quickly and Caleb and I definitely know that!
In other news...we're getting ready to enjoy our last Valentine's Day pre-kid (but who am I kidding? He's with me wherever I go, haha!) Caleb's been planning all week long, as have I, but it will be a surprise to one another come Sunday! I do know that he got us tickets for the movie Valentine's Day but, because my husband knows me well, the tickets are for tonight since I always like to see a new movie on its opening day. Kind of like when you open a fresh toothbrush out of its package-its clean, the bristles are crisp, and its ready for you to use. That's how I like my movies! SO...all that to say...we are so thankful for Henry's good health report and looking forward to a fun Valentine filled weekend! :)

Henry's new walls!
Here are pictures from the night Caleb painted Henry's room! The lattice is only on one wall (his crib will sit in front of the lattice wall) I'm SO happy with how it came out! The blue is a very, very light blue which I can't tell if it shows up differently on the camera because of the yellowish light on the ceiling we are going to replace, but its very cute! The last two are from the next morning.

Look for more nursery updates to come soon! :)

Christmas pictures I forgot to post...
Even though Christmas was a LOOOOONG time ago I realized today I never put these pictures up and wanted to make sure I documented our first Christmas together in our new house! Enjoy!

Our little Rouge sporting her Merry Christmas tshirt from the Medlocks (after "loving" on her gator in the background)

Our monogrammed stockings!

My sweet husband hanging out before church on Christmas Eve
