My parents graciously bought us this beautiful braided rug for sweet Henry's nursery! It arrived a couple of weeks ago and I LOVE it. The colors are lighter than the picture and there's more green that pops out. I love walking by his room each day and seeing the colors-it feels like he already has a place in our home! Thank you Mom and Dad for this beautiful gift!

HCW

Today I stepped into Monograms to order a few things for Henry! I needed a bag tag for his diaper bag and to have some burp cloths monogrammed as well. After a lot of flipping through all the designs, here's the bag tag I picked out below (the font is really similar except a tad more bold and its in a 'limeade' color with the blue and white stripes in the background.) Isn't it cute??

Monograms is having this great deal now where you can get two items monogrammed for the price of one until the end of the month so I was not going to let that pass! Hmm, I only have 10 more days left...what else can I monogram around here? I can't wait to get them back soon and sew ribbon/fabric on them! I picked out a circle monogram similar to the one below in navy and green, a block monogram and 'fishtail' monogram in baby blue, and the last one with 'henry caswell' across the front.
We also bought Henry's stroller yesterday at Dilly Dally and found some of the fabric for his curtains (a light blue and apple green oversized plaid like fabric) while we were there. I got a great deal on it! I'm going to try to use this fabric as a pointed valance if I have enough with light blue curtains and trim the curtains with either white or apple green.

We're SO ready for him to get here... :)

29 weeks

I got this survey from Ash's blog and hope to use it in these last few weeks. :)

How far along? 29 weeks

Total weight gain: 23 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Yep! I am still able to find in a few things that aren't maternity, but they are few and far between.

Stretch marks? Two little marks about a half inch, ugh.

Sleep: Amazing and regular....I'm so surprised I can sleep through the night still!

Best moment this week: (these are from 28 weeks) Receiving the invitation for Henry's first shower in the mail--cutest invitation- thrown by Ashlee and Stephanie and coming home today to find his bedding waiting for me at the front door. (See below)

Worst moment this week: Hmm...probably feeling weak at times, but that's slowly getting better. I had an appointment last week that went really well with one new development that my iron level is lower than normal so I'm taking iron pills each day. The side effects of low iron are weakness, fatigue, nausea, and feeling faint. I've felt this way the entire second trimester on and off so its great to finally have an answer as to why and a solution to make it better! So this anemic mama is hoping to feel better very soon and happy that her sweet boy is getting all my energy in the meantime. :)

Movement: Yes and I love it!

Food cravings: Chocolate, banana strawberry smoothie, and ICE (side effect of being anemic)

Labor Signs: None as far as I know.

Belly Button in or out? In.

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Milestones: Attempting to get better at updating our blog!

Looking forward to next week: Our 30 week appointment. :)

Hooray!

Henry's bedding came in the mail from Pottery Barn today! I was not even expecting it until next week or so! The green is a true apple green and its precious! We're doing white furniture in his nursery with a green, light blue, and white braided rug and coordinating curtains. I can't wait to get the rest of his room together. :)

Look to the right...

Notice anything new?!

That's right...we're pregnant! We're due April 7th and expecting our son, Henry Caswell Wright. We've been pretty busy around here preparing for Henry- from buying our first house and moving in a month ago to preparing for his arrival and everything in between Whoo! Let me tell you-the past three months have been a whirlwind for us. But the good kind. :)

Henry is very active and healthy and we feel SO blessed by God to be his parents and that this has been an easy pregnancy for me so far. I hope to get better at updating the blog, but I'm not making any promises...(this may or may not be on my New Year's resolutions list!) For now, this will have to do!

Bucket List

I'm sure all of you know what a Bucket List is-if not read more here. Well, I don't have a very long list as of yet, but here goes:

THE List:
1. Be on The Price is Right (this could be in the audience/contestant. my grandmother loved this show and watched about every day. i have very fond memories of watching it with her.)
2. Go back to Europe but this time with Caleb- I've been twice, but never had a husband at the time and I want him to see what I talk about often. I really want to take him to Italy and England.

Sooo that's all I have so far. See I told you it was super short!

What's on your Bucket List??

Recipe

*UPDATE: I remember when reading the reviews that some people used ricotta cheese in substitute of the cottage cheese so I thought I'd pass that along to y'all. Also this dish is even better as leftovers! :)

I made the one of the best (in my husband's humble opinion) baked spaghetti dishes last night for a late dinner and wanted to share the yummy recipe! I will admit its not from any fancy cookbook I simply googled "easy baked spaghetti recipe" and this is what I found. :)

Baked Spaghetti
www.allrecipes.com

PREP TIME 25 Min
COOK TIME 1 Hr
READY IN 1 Hr 25 Min
Yields 8 servings

INGREDIENTS

* 1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti
* 1 pound ground beef
* 1 medium onion, chopped
* 1 (26 ounce) jar meatless spaghetti sauce
* 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
* 2 eggs
* 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* 5 tablespoons butter, melted
* 2 cups small curd cottage cheese
* 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

DIRECTIONS

1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the spaghetti sauce and seasoned salt; set aside.
2. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, Parmesan cheese and butter. Drain spaghetti; add to egg mixture and toss to coat.
3. Place half of the spaghetti mixture in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Top with half of the cottage cheese, meat sauce and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes. Uncover; bake 20-25 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

**I didn't include meat because I wanted a lighter taste, but I'm sure it's great with it! I also used a cookie sheet underneath the casserole dish to catch any spills since I used a smaller dish and that helped a lot.
